Hey guys!

If you are in Mumbai or anywhere near Mumbai, you know the weather during this time of the year is the best. The cool breeze, rains, smell of wet soil when it rains… 🙂 🙂

A perfect atmosphere for camping/trekking or just a nice trip to places near by.🐸

So this is when few of my friends and I decided to head over to Lonavala for one night camp to Pawana Lake. Pawana Lake is an artificial lakes in the vicinity of Pune. It is 10 Kms off Kamshet on the old Mumbai-Pune highway, this lake came into existence after the construction of the Pawana Dam, and now it plays a scenic host for camp site.

It’s a train journey of 3-3&1/2 hours to reach Lonavala station from CSMT station and another half an hour to reach the camp site. We chose pawana camp who have different campsite areas surrounding the lake, each offering an amazing view and variety of activities (cricket, archery, etc.) other than just visiting the lake.

Campsite G has more activities than any other site like trekking to Trikona fort, kayaking and other sports activities and star gazing. We also had a barbecue set with mouth watering delicacies.🍢🍢

There are several campsites to choose from ranging from B-H, each having different activities and you have the option to choose from. A bonfire was also set up at night and let’s all agree that bonfires are always fun!🔥

As it’s really difficult to tell you exactly how great the view was, here are some of the pics of the place.
